1. Information we collect
When you request a journey or contact Bridge2Gate, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup and destination, journey date and time, passenger and luggage details, selected vehicle category, flight number if supplied, return details and any special requests.
For driver applications and working relationships, we also process contact details, vehicle information, licensing authority, availability and documents supplied for verification, such as driver or vehicle licences, insurance and MOT records, including their expiry dates.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to assess journey requests, provide quotes, contact customers, plan and fulfil accepted transport services, take payment, keep appropriate business records, respond to enquiries or complaints, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Driver and vehicle information is used to assess applications, verify suitability and maintain operational records.
3. Our basis for processing
Depending on the situation, information is processed to take steps requested before entering a contract, perform an accepted booking, meet legal duties, or pursue legitimate interests such as operating and protecting the service. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately.
4. Who receives information
Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with drivers or transport providers involved in an accepted journey, and with service providers supporting email, form delivery, payments, hosting, communications or business administration. Providers should receive only the information needed for their role.
5. Retention and security
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for booking administration, customer service, accounting, legal or dispute purposes. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, although no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable UK data protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of your personal information, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
7. Cookies and analytics
Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after a visitor chooses to allow analytics. It is used to understand website usage and improve the service, not for advertising. Visitors can decline without affecting booking or contact features, or change their choice at any time using Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent disables further Google Analytics collection and removes its cookies from this site.
We store your analytics choice in local storage. Necessary services may use storage or security tokens for sign-in, abuse prevention and payment. Google Maps supports address suggestions when you use the address fields; Stripe processes card payments. These services are separate from optional website analytics.
